The Christian Science Building in Pendleton, Oregon, was built in 1926 as a church and was recently donated to the city by the Bisnett family. The building is located on the corner of Southwest Byers Avenue and South Main Street.
The building is a beautiful example of the Spanish Mission style, according to the City of Pendleton and was originally constructed as a church for the Christian Science congregation in Pendleton.
In 2023, the Bisnett family, who had purchased the building 30 years prior, donated it to the City of Pendleton.
In 2025, the City of Pendleton approved the sale of the building to the Friends of the Opera House, a theater company in Elgin Oregon, for the purpose of establishing a sister theater company, The Pendleton Theater Company.
